JOE COTTO, aka El Magnifico, is without doubt one of the greatest
interpreters of modern latin music. An outstanding conductor, he hails from
the town of NAGUABO in Puerto Rico, a place known for its famous artists. In
his time Joe Cotto was considered among the best interpreters of
Hispanic Music (mambo, guaguanco, Jala Jala, Bolero etc),leading a top notch
orquesta with singers MARKOS MILLAN and CHIVIRICO DAVILA. Cotto and
his band were known and loved not only in America but the world over. Salsa
International is proud to be able to re-issue this classic recording
made by Cotto at the peak of his musical powers.
