This band was led by pianist Felix Morales. Produced by legendary salsa producer Al Santiago and originally on his
Manana Records label. Contains the Lain Soul number 'I Regret'.
"...The original meaning of the name CAPRI was co-operative
association of Puerto Rican instrumentalists. I was the only Cuban. The
name came from George Asencio the first trumpet player and he wrote
a lot of the lyrics to our songs....
The original album jacket of Orchestra Capri 'En Fuego' originally
credited the band as Tipical minus One . The back cover that has a lot of
info written by producer Al Santiago. On the back jacket is a picture of
the band members with City college in the back ground."

"Orchesta Capri was a young and talented Band. We played along
side big named dance bands such as; Eddie Palmieri, Larry Harlow, Johnny
Pacheco, Willie Colon, Ray Barretto, etc. Needless to say we had a great
Band. So without further ado I must say I was fortunate enough to have
played with Orchesta Capri, and I owe my gratitude to Felix
Morales for asking me to play in his band. I will never forget the
talented musicians of Orchesta Capri. The music from the two LP's
that was recorded then, still rocks today."
