'Ioana Radu, queen of the romance genre, is distinguished by her unrivalled
voice.
Its a difficult task to write a few lines about the unrivalled Ioana Radu, after writing a whole book on this subject. I find that only her greatness remains in my mind.
Ioana Radu remains the interpreter who believed with great sincerity in the romance's poetry, in its melodic thrill; that's why she induced a healing effect in the audience's heart. For the 'love' in her songs, she attached herself with the love in her soul, with her generous heart. Many well known songs appeared completely different when interpreted by
Ioana Radu in her highly dramatic style. She was a great singer, always in love with this very special type song, named by an anonymous poet: the romance. Where did she find such a great strength and skill looking for perfection? Great artists have such a treasure, though they might not be aware of their divine gift. She thoroughly studied the
