"Born on 14 august 1969 in Bucharest, Raluca Patuleanu started her career in music at the well-known Art High School George Enescu in Bucharest. She studied violin, panflute and piano simultaneously and specialized in classical vocal music.

She had a rich artistic activity in Romania where she was part of many famous artistic groups: Romanasul, Doina Studentilor, Hora Bueurestiului, Doina Bucureptiului, Stoicanegti, Formatia UTC-ului (the group of the Young Communists' Union), Orchestra Radio-TV (the Radio and TV Broadcast ng Society) and Rapsodia Ramana (Romanian Rhapsody).

The tours she undertook during this time greatly contributed to the consecration of her outstanding panflute performance, her playing this typically Romanian instrument, well-known and beloved all over the world..."
