"The band takes his name after the term Giobia, a dialect term standing for "witch" or "Thursday" (the day of the witches): the band has a magical key for this melting pot made of psychedelic, folk, dance, electronics and so on...

In Giobia's music you can find ethnic instruments, such like sitar, bouzouky, oud, darbuka... as well as modern ones like chapman grand stick, vocoder, Theremin... all mixed in a popular and updated musical formula.
