Poland's Warsaw Village Band mix trance, minimal and roots music to create their own strong and distinctive sound.

'The second album by The Band from the Village of Warsaw. 'People's Spring' brings out what is the most beautiful in this music - traditional singing, strings bugle-calls, drums' cannonades, trance and improvisations, roots vibration as well as youthful joy and passion.'

The band combines respect for tradition with seeking for new ideas. Their unique sound is achieved by using a characteristic manner of singing: so called 'white voices' and archaic traditional instruments. Full of energy and joy, performing rediscovered tunes with long forgotten or ignored elements of trance in traditional Polish music.
