Eszter 'Ezter' Biro is an actress and singer who has worked with the Budapest Klezmer Band. Her aim is to present the
traditional Yiddish music and shtetis (the old Jewish life) to a younger generation.
"Ezter is inspired by the Jewish musical traditions of the eastern European heritage in which she grew up. The ancient Jewish melodies in
Aramaic. English, Yiddish, Hebrew, Hungarian, Judeo-Spanish, Judeo-Tat and Malayalam take you from Hungary to the middle east, Persian Gulf, the shores of the Indian ocean along the desert to the Mediterranean sea in modern, electro-acoustic arrangement with strong visual messages..."
