"In our folk-music-adaptations we aspire to preserve the authentic image of folk-songs, mainly considering the singing-style and saz- baglama-play. Our pieces are based on tradition supplemented by the individual improvisations of the members of the group."

Arasinda plays Turkish folk music with traditional
Turkish instruments (like saz baglama, kaval, bendir, derbuka, ud, zurna, davul, kemençe) and fretless bass, violin, guzla, gandulka, electric-acoustic-, acoustic guitar.
Hannah Berger sings in Turkish and employ traditional
Turkish singing-style.

Gyulai (violin, gadulka, kabak kemane, derbuka, davul, clap)
regularly joins other Hungarian folk groups like Makám,
Kolinda, AT Ensemble, Trio Calamona, Voces
Aequales...
The accompaniment is played with authentic Turkish instruments (saz baglama, oud, kaval, zurna, davul etc.)
and also with instruments from other folk music and modern instruments (daf, gadulka, oboe, violin, guitar, bass guitar etc.).
On one hand, the unmistakable sound of the Arasinda comes from Turkish folk
music, on the other it comes from the personal improvisation style of the musicians.
