At the World Music Award Party in Copenhagen Jazzhouse, Klezmofobias first release
"Tantz!" was awarded with the prize "Best album of the year".
Klezmofobia was selected by an independent jury among many other great bands from the
Danish world music scene! Danish Klezmofobia was formed in 2004 playing the so called New York
Klezmer.
They spice up Traditional Eastern European folk music with elements from rock, surf, pop and
balkan.
“Tantz!” was produced by singer Channe Nussbaum, who also performs is
featured on two songs on the album. The cooperation went so well, that Channe Nussbaum now is part of the group."
